First batch of captured documents from pre-war Iraq and Afghanistan are now online
So the first batch is available to the public... and eventually more will be released. My biggest issue with this is any document (or group of) when taken out of the bigger picture could be interpreted or construed in many ways... if there were any "home runs" they would have been waved on top of the UN and a much bigger press release regarding them. Additionally any docs that were "embarrassing" to any foreign power would probably have gotten 'lost' in the shuffle.
So I doubt that anyone will get what they were looking for, beyone innuendo and suspicious activities that could be interpreted by the reader to support any theory they are trying to make.
We'll see... but I still think the spooks will keep the good stuff under wraps.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has created a website where it will post documents captured in postwar Afghanistan and Iraq. The website is hosted by the Foreign Military Studies Office Joint Reserve Intelligence Center at Fort Leavenworth and will be updated continuously with new documents.
The first batch of materials, released late Wednesday, includes nine documents captured in connection with Operation Iraqi Freedom and 28 documents previously released on February 14, 2006, in conjunction with a study of those documents conducted by analysts at West Point. Sources on Capitol Hill and within the intelligence community tell The Weekly Standard that hundreds of new documents will be made available in the coming days, including 50-60 hours of audiotapes from the Iraqi regime.

It is hard to say what, exactly, to expect with the coming release of documents. There will be documents that lend support to those who opposed the war in Iraq and, to be sure, documents that bolster the case for those who supported the war.

these are the documents, hard drives, tapes videos papers, all that good stuff on exactly what saddam was doing before the invasion(right up to the invasion)
all about his wmd's what he did with them(most likely siria) stuff about the mass killings, his plans , like what he would do if america invaded, if we didn't invade, this bla bla bla,
but of course the US touched these documents and stuff so america probaly tampered with them and we probaly forged some documents and we probaly made up stuff, just watch the anti-americans won't pay any attention to this and still blame america for everything.

March 16, 2006 — Following are the ABC News Investigative Unit's summaries of four of the nine Iraqi documents from Saddam Hussein's government, which were released by the U.S. government Wednesday.
The documents discuss Osama bin Laden, weapons of mass destruction, al Qaeda and more.
I'll let those interested read the reviews and editors notes directly. The only thing to remember is that the review is only of the first group of documents, and further details or allegations may exist in other documents... Also doesn't include other sources of information gained in other locations, agents, and interceptions.

March 22, 2006 — Following are the ABC News Investigative Unit's summaries of five documents from Saddam Hussein's government, which have been released by the U.S. government.
The documents discuss Osama bin Laden, weapons of mass destruction, al Qaeda and more.
A newly released pre-war Iraqi document indicates that an official representative of Saddam Hussein's government met with Osama bin Laden in Sudan on February 19, 1995 after approval by Saddam Hussein.

(Editor's Note: This document is handwritten and has no official seal. Although contacts between bin Laden and the Iraqis have been reported in the 9/11 Commission report and elsewhere, (e.g. the 9/11 report states "Bin Ladn himself met with a senior Iraqi intelligence officer in Khartoum in late 1994 or early 1995) this document indicates the contacts were approved personally by Saddam Hussein.
It also indicates the discussions were substantive, in particular that bin Laden was proposing an operational relationship, and that the Iraqis were, at a minimum, interested in exploring a potential relationship and prepared to show good faith by broadcasting the speeches of al Ouda, the radical cleric who was also a bin Laden mentor.
The document does not establish that the two parties did in fact enter into an operational relationship. Given that the document claims bin Laden was proposing to the Iraqis that they conduct "joint operations against foreign forces" in Saudi Arabia, it is interesting to note that eight months after the meeting — on November 13, 1995 — terrorists attacked Saudi National Guard Headquarters in Riyadh, killing 5 U.S. military advisors. The militants later confessed on Saudi TV to having been trained by Osama bin Laden.)
