ActiveSync Problems:

My Dell X5 Basic will not sync Notes from MS Outlook. I'm running Windows XP. Everything else seems great. I've tried the following with no luck.

1.) Upgraded to 3.7 ActiveSync
2.) Reset the soft and hard resets.
3.) Tried calling Dell
4.) Played with it for hours

Nothing seems to work...my MS Notes form Outlook will not come across.

The sync process (regarding Notes from Outlook) will work with other laptops - but not mine.

Any suggestions!!!! So I know it's not the device - but more so a problem with my laptop...

Under settings, do you have "Notes" checked off? If you don't they won't sync.

Yes, Thank You for your quick responce - but yes, Notes is "checked" off, and it still won't sync. Remember, Notes will sync with other PC's, just not my PC...I've just switched over from a Palm and my Notes synced just fine...I never did or had to touch any setting within Outlook for my Palm, so I'm assuming that all is well there.

I too am having a similar problem trying to sync my outlook notes with my axim. Last time I tried, got a message stating I could not connect properly to my server even though my contacts and avantgo information would update normally. So if anyone has a solution for this it would be greatly appreciated!
