VGA hacks..... Really needed? and media players....
Just was sitting here thinking today......
Are the VGA hacks really needed any more?
I tended to see that they had two advantages..... better web browsing, and better movie playback.
What with the new pieces of software that do these things natively, are things like ozVGA and se_vga redundant? Other than as a "hey, isnt this cool" thing at least.
The other thing I came across as a result is that a lot of applications do assume one is using the stylus. This is most especially annoying within media players, the buttons are far too small to just tap quickly with a finger..... which when I use my ax as an MP3 player is irritating.
Bad practice I know, but I wondered if anyone had come across similar problems.
