I read a post from an Aximsite member who is stationed in Iraq (PabloPowell) and that gave me the idea to start a thread to give our men and women around the world who are "In harm's way" a great big THANK YOU.
Whether you agree or disagree with our foreign policy, the guys and gals who are out there putting it on the line deserve our support.
Thank You

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll be gone all day.
Traffic lights that are set for 35 are also set for 70
I tried to be the first to thank you for your idea, but there were a few qiucker than I. I served in Baghdad 15 months right from the start.
As for my X5, it serve there too. Before we deployed, a few folks were concerned the X5 would not be able to survive the conditions, but it did with the help of a rhinoskin and a ziplock bag. I used it daily, for many tasks including photo albums and music sent from home on CF cards.
I served in Riyadh during Desert Storm 1 and I know how much support from home meant to us then... It means even more now.

Hey Rad, I was in Riyadh a couple of times during the buildup for DS, spent most of my time up at Tananjib though. Your right on the money about how much it means to the troops to know the folks at home support them. Me and Mama keep them in our prayers every night and I encourage everyone to do the same.
