Auto hide cursor on XP???

I built my own digital picture frame out of an old laptop. It is now hanging on the wall and I use a widget engine to display the weather time ect. The only problim is that the cursor is visable on boot. I have looked and the sollution's I have found are to replace the cursor with an invisable one, or paying $15 for this http://www.softexe.com/chss.html which i am not going to do. The only Problim with the replacing the cursor is that I somtimes need to access it with the mouse.. so does anyone have any sudgestons? This seems so simple to code as there are many examples on the web. Thanks

Not to really hide it, but if you move the cursor aaaaall the way to the right, it appears to move off of the screen! (I think it may be pointing to the right-most row of pixels and we can't see the rest of the cursor.)

I found this icon converter program with a 15-day trial period. It says you can make an icon from a picture and a cursor from an icon, so make an icon from a picture only 1 pixel big!

Good luck!

PS - How fast is the laptop's proc, how much RAM are you using and how big is the HD? Are you pushing photos to it via an Ethernet connection or are you using a USB key?
