Just wondering. I really loved them when I was younger, but I didn't know too many others who shared my taste here in The States.

I'm guessing that there were a few more fans "across the pond."

I must admit that among the six or seven songs I've bought in this digital age, a couple are some old favorites of mine: Joey's on the Street Again, and Someone's Looking At You. :rolling:

I don't like Mondays. Bob Geldoff made that huge Charity concert in the mid 80's and starred in Pink Floyd's movie, "The Wall" if my memory serves.

I preferred the old punk sensibility Geldof as opposed to the new socially conscious Geldof

I also liked the Rats' stuff more than Geldof's own stuff, although some of his wasn't too bad either.

I dug them back in the 80's....geldof was a goof but thankfully a goof with a big heart.
