Just a quick question about desktop Powerpoint: How can I hide speaker's notes from the audience when I'm giving the presentation? I'm running Powerpoint 2002 and the "Help" is of very little help... Thanks.

are you using multiple monitors?

in PP2k3, look at SlideShow -> Set up Show

You can set it to show the ppt on the second monitor, with the notes on the first monitor

Unfortunately, just one monitor. I'm just hooking up my laptop to an LCD projector...if that's what you mean.

The computer would need "multi monitor support"

most laptops support multimonitor especially if the have s-video jacks, some can support multimonitor even using the video port.

although you may need to update the video driver... I use Latitude d505's and it works fine

Great news! I got it to work! The tutorial was very helpful, and I also had to change a few things within Powerpoint, but it does the job now. Thanks very much! :approve:
