Clear Type on XP...who likes it

Who likes to use Clear Type on their XP machines? I think it makes things kinda blurry. Don't you think?

I do. I believe it's quite useful for me. I no longer need to squint to read text. (Currently using Dell 19" LCD. Forgot model number)

Same as darkdestroyer ... adds a bit of thickness to the letters, makes them a lot clearer on LCDs ... 19" Dell LCD and WXGA 14" Compaq

Works great on my 20" widescreen. I would recommend that people use the tuner to set it up for their own preferences.

Clear-type is an option under both Windows and Windows mobile that You can use to "smooth" the edges of fonts, making them lookot-so-blocky. I find it useful on the desktop, and worthless on my QVGA Ax.

I am surprised so many people like it.

I have 2005FPW and I used the Clear Type Tuner to tune it. Under certain fonts, they look kind of blurry. Anybody has any suggestion on how to tune them even further?

That really depends on the display you have. If you're using a CRT then you don't need it - but it really works well on a flat-panel LCD (which is what it was really intended for).
