For all the women out there (my attempt to out do frenchy)
***this is my attept to out do frenchy's "For all the women out there"
There's this little spot right down the road from me, it's very secluded and not very known about. The bad thing is that my county right now is in the process of converting it into a park. A park is better than developing the area but leaving it as is would be 1000 times better than a park, even a nature perserve would be better. but life is life and this is what is gonna happen.
so I decided to take some pics before they do anything. The pics don't do justice to this spot, it is really a peaceful, quite, a place where you could go and not worry about life. you can hear the water go by(1 it's stream even though it looks like a lake 2 and it's a slow pace not like a river) you can hear birds, and it smells like nature too. this is one of those gems that you can't find in alot of places.
wow if yu guys liked that you would LOVE my backyard. a 500 ft drop surrounded by very tall trees. and a creek.. well frenchy will get to see it next time he comes to stl..
@truth: ??? I don't know? I do know that the girls do love the spot.
@darkdestroyer: There's no fish in there, it's a backed up creek(I mistaking called it a stream earlier). A part of the creek(pre-backed up part) near my apartment is really really small, I can easily jump it. Never saw the other end(post backed up part).
@pocketbrain: dude get your brain out of your pocket, it's not all about bagging them... well.... DUDE get your brain out of your pocket. lol
@abf: I always thought that stl was flat?

there are some areas that are flat (most of those areas weh ave had floods in) (oh those floods and their free minded ways) but other parts of stl can be as hilly has a monkey without teeth.
Kinda looks like my place. We own half way into the river and have over 3.5 acres for our four horses. It has been raining a lot here lately, more than it has this time of year for several years, thus everything is very green. I'll get some pics to post next time.
@mrobert: the most they'll do to the area you see in the pics will probaly be some walking trails and a picknick area or two. but other than that the area will stay the same, they're doing the most park development like 1/2-1 mile away from this place.
@annamariaNJ: selectoman? is that my nickname? lol
cutie pie's doing great(is that her nickname?) I was thinking today that I should take her skinny dipping there. she's never been there, so that'll be nice
