lcd smartie is a program that outputs to an external LCD (you have to make the lcd your self. unless you go on ebay i dont think that there are any retal stores that stock/sell them.) it can display rss feeds and loads of other stuff.

For those here that have the LCD Smartie and a digital camera, do you think you could post a photo of your setup? I'm interseted on how well it works / how useful it is.

That really depends more on what LCD you have as LCD Smartie is just software to display text/info/data on a display. The display itself is what differs (colors, sizes, etc.). All though all the displays usually just display in two tone (Black and White, Blue and White, etc.) and are usually ment just for text.

Check out my review on the crystalfontz for some pictures:

www.CrystalFontz.com has some wonderful LCDs (what I would say are the best out there), and www.MatrixOrbital.com is another known brand.

The Logitech G15 gaming keyboard has a small LCD on it. I have been using it with LCD Studio, they added support for it, I'll check out smartie.

I happen to have the G15 as well. Tried LCD Studio and it is TONS harder to make screens in than LCD Smartie is. Supposedly though LCD Smartie is working on support for the G15 (which will be awesome!).

Right now though, I mainly use the G15 for the time and Song/Artist info (of currently playing track).
