wired problem with scrolling

i built myself a custom computer and the problem is that when i scroll this wired sound comes over thye speckers. but the sound is only there while music is playing. the cpu is a fast one and from my lcd status screen it isnt doing to much work while scrolling. i am woundering if it might just be that i am using a wireless mouse and when i scroll it is giving off a signal that is the right frequincy that the speckers are picking it up.the other thing is that if i justpress down the scroll button then it will scroll without the noise. the noise is a very low pitched "woofing" noise.. what do ou guys think?
the specs are
1.10ghz duron cpu
mk73le-n mobo
60gb maxtor hdd (primary master and boot drive)
6gb WD hdd (primay slave non-boot partion)
lite on dvd drive
lite on cd rw drive
400watt aopen psu
compaq wireless mouse
dual 10/100 ethernet
mitsubisu floppy drive
.................................................. ........................................

Well if its a wired sound then disconnect all wiring that isn't necessary to the computer working. If as I suspect its a weird one then I would first request what OS you are using and whether you have checked that all the latest drivers are installed.

If everything is up to date I suggest you wipe the system and re-install the operating system and then sound card drivers before everything else and see if it still happens- if it doesn't re-install everything until you repeat the problem - once the problem occurs the fault will more than likely be with the driver for that item.

As for the fast CPU - It used to be fast - not nowadays!!

And you have forgotten to spell check your posts lately again ABF

i am sure with your mastery of 12 programming languages, and expertise with xp permission levels you should have no problem creating a SP.

by the way how is that "new" os for the x30 you are writing for the x30 coming?

So you have a nice little pile of source code do you?
compelling device drivers?
Some Services that become applications, some applications that become services? in the end they are all better off for it?

I have had this happen on a few machines. I have come down to that it is crappy grouding on the Mainboard.

It is some type of interferance that comes of the speakers, and for some reason, just like you said, only when music is playing (or sounds are playing), and with the scroll.

The solution I have found is turning off the computer, unplugging the PSU for awhile, then plugging it back in. This seems to reground the board. Also, try unplugging the speakers and rubbing your fingers across the connectors, this will ground out any static in the lines.

Those are just a few things I have found to help
