Agreed Its bad enough not having a fully match fit Owen we can't afford 2 players not match fit - And get rid of Hargreaves as well

Rooney has stated he'll be kicking a ball by the end of this week (or he is rumoured to have said it).

I can't say my hopes are high even with Rooney. But without him I think we'll struggle.

But having said that - this build up this year DOES seem to be better organized than in previous tournaments. So you never know. There's a lot of luck involved and hopefully we can make some of our own luck too.

I haven't picked Rooney - just too much of a risk.

Of course, I have gone for Walcott, who will blatantly to a Pele '58 come the World Cup. :hide:
