yesterday i was buisy cleaning out my notebook and i was doing this while i was nie an comfy in my bed. i guess while i was waiting forsomething to complete i fell asleep. when i woke up (12 hours later) my noteook was happaly waiting for me. the cpu temp did not rise to a rediculas level and the fans were not spinning faster than a hovercrafts compresser. as soon as i regained cocusnesa an figured out what had happend the note book was ready to continue. it wasnt even hot! this is wy i love my notebook... btw: it has been on for at least 24 hours now as i have been useing it for school work)
yeah, it didnt even crash! (although that is tanks to the software)... i decided to let it snooze for the rest of the day just incase so i am posting from my p4 prescott...
yeah, i am starting to come tothe conclution that xp home is better than pro. my biggest pet peve is that in xp pro netowrk adapeters are simply regarded as being "enabled" or "disconected" how evrr in home it says somethign like "firewalled, connected, ip" also in when you repair a connection it just says "repairing" where as on home it says "refreshing ip ok, clearing the ARP cache ect ect.."
The 6000 is the machine daughter # 2 bought with her H.S. grad. money to take to college. Performance wise I think it's a great blend between cost and features. Nice to know yours is running so well!
