I have a request.

I'm working on an app to make a list of remote PCs run a specified command concurrently. I plan on calling it something like "Remote Command Manager" or "Remote Execute Manager". I'm open to suggestions on this as well.

It would be cool to have a nice program icon and splash screen (viewable while it parses AD for lists of OUs that contain PCs).

I figure the splash screen would be up for a period of time, so it should have space for a progress bar and some self-congradulatory text, like Photoshop has when it starts up.

This is an in-house app, but will be available to anyone that wants it. It should run fine on any AD network where the operator has admin on the remote PCs and WMI is available.

Basically, I'm writing it to help maintain a library of check-out laptops and kiosk machines with monthly updates and such. It will list all OUs containing PCs, allow you to select and OU which populates a listview of those PCs. Allow you to select individual ones which will go into a queue, select another OU and additional PCs, etc. When provided a command to run on those remote PCs and "OK'ed", it will then execute concurrently on all those queued PCs.

Jukov--I was going to suggest you might try redesigning the WM5/Axim s51v A12 splash screen. Surely someone here would know how to swap it for the ugly default one. I mean a method that works...
