Sometimes good things happen.

A couple of months ago I got ripped off on eBay when I bought a 2 gig SD card which turned out to be a fake and was completely useless. I contacted the seller but he had gone and taken my 46 pounds with him.
This left me pretty p****d off with eBay, crooks and anyone else who crossed my path and without expecting any results I lodged a complaint with PayPal.
I was looking at my Visa statement this morning and there was my 46 pounds as a credit from PayPal. It took a while but at least it happened.
I finished up buying my card from Amazon, it was a couple of pounds cheaper and works perfectly.
I have used eBay a fair bit, even buying a car, so I am pretty careful but this guy had built a good feedback history selling general household rubbish over a few months and then launched his cards for about a week and disappeared before the s**t hit the fan.

I have found PayPal to be a pretty good servcie. I have someone try to hack my account and they have responded very quickly and took actions beyond what I thought was required. My only complaint with them is there are no humans to talk to, just email and messages. Thats fine but it sure helps to hear somebody say "Its Okay we will take care of it".

It's not always only an email response. When I was trying to resolve a conflct with pdabitz.co.uk PayPal actually phoned me, as did eBay. I got my money back eventually from pdabitz.co.uk
