I like but my apartment people are already b***ing about the fact that i have 4 Servers running on my floor for work, they even decided to not renew my contract being that in there eyes it is a violation of my rental agreement. i dont think they would like that. although i could do it out of spite in front of the rental office.

maybe you could go to a park or a friends hose and do it..
actually i am thinking being that it is still under warrenty once i get my data off of it send it back and make them replace that thing. i wont use it for anything critical but it never hurts to have 200gbs of storage incase you need it.

put it as a secounday drive in your box and make a HUGE paging fike on it. i have a 6gb hdd on my custom and 3gigs is assorted stuff and then the 2 1/2 gigs (remeber the file system takes up space too) is a huge paging file.
What about a new liquid cooling system for the PC.

uh, make sure that that data is not curropt! make a check sum of the drive and then make an image of it. then run a checksum on thje image and see if all is well.. i check sum 100% of everything that goes on to my nslu2. a also keep tarballs of most of the files on my secoundary nslu2 drive (40gig)

That doesn't work though in this case. If it is corrupt, the checksum would be corrupt as well as he is making it from the data that could be corrupt.....
