Holy Frozen Hard Drives Batman!!!!

so it has come to drastic measures. i just have to keep my HD cooler longer to get any meaningful data off of it. i mean there is over 120GBs of data on that thing.

Ive double bagged with 1/2 gallon ziplock bags and got as much air as i could out of the inner bag.

sorry but i did not find any such videos, the tech specs say that i should be fine. plus these kind of things normally air on the side of caution and are a bit conservative with there specs.

ya know, this is going to sound like i want your hdd to break, but i have heard of people roping their hdd from 3ft on to carpety and then the drive working again. not saying that you should try it but...

that maybe the next step. but the success of just sticking it in the freezer worked for a few minutes so i am hopeful that this will work.

I'm sorry, but seeing your HD in your freezer... We certainly live in the 21st century.

"Eh, you want your chocolate, vanilla, or chocolate-chip-cookie-dough hard drive?"

Good luck on getting your data, Eric.
