When I was a kid my favourite movie/ cartoon/ programme was

I am sitting here with my daughter watching 'the wizard of oz'. It got me reminiscing about all the films/ programmes/ cartoons I watched growing up (Oz aint my era but I did watch the repeats).

Just throw down some of your favourite titles...the first ones that pop into your head. And feel free to discuss them. I am feeling warm just thinking of these titles......feel good factor....often forget there was a period in my life where I hadn't a care in the world.....I was just a kid loving life.

Some of mine are:

CARTOONS
Battle of the Planets
Thundercats
He-man
Rainbow
Magic Roundabout

FILMS
Star Wars - All three
Karate Kid
Zulu
Spartucus
EL Cid
All the epic's

PROGRAMMES
Young Ones
Monkey
A-Team
Dallas - my mums fault.....I loved it...shame on me lol
Red Dwarf

Well that's a start.......what's yours....do you recognise any of mine ? some are UK specific.....

LOL I know what you mean. Just back from shopping in town with the missus and she aint happy. I bought 12 DVD's including some of the ones mentioned on this....and guess what....Jason and the Argonoughts was one of them LOL>

They definitely don't make them as good as they used to. I am fighting the daughter for control of our Satellite TV....going through all the cartoon channels to see if there are any re-runs of thundercats etc.

MORE from me
Blazing Saddles - the cowboy beans scene very nearly killed me....my dad to this day remembers me in fits of laughter...then turning blue falling on the floor chocking on my toast and cheese. I cleared my windpipe got up dusted myself down then proceeded to replay the scene around 13 times.
Muppet Show
Dune
Blade Runner
