define "logon to shares"

You mean "Net Use" ??

for the menu, see:

that was the first artical i went to to figure otu the menu. i coded it and windows printed an error. so i tryed d/l the batch he posted and windows printed another error. logon to shares: i have an nslu2 and in order to gain access to it i have to double click on its icon in my computer then enter me\y username/password then i have to exit out of the window and start wmp then clicko on my remote playlist. i would liek kto automat this prosses by doign somehing like:
Quote:
@echo off
<**line to login to share here**>
<**path to playlist here (on local hdd)**>
:exit
that way i can put the bat file in my /startmenu/startup folder nad have my share loged into and wmp started when i power up..

BTW.... I have my PC autologon, but then I put a shortcut into my startup folder to launch my PW protected screensaver.

So the computer starts up , logs on, runs all my startup apps, but is still "locked" until I get around to actually working on it.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
