I read about that yesterday. I think MS is gonna lose alot of money re-buying everyone's iTunes music, but more power to em if they can afford it. It will probably sway alot of people.

I also listen to all my music on my Ax ans the sound quality is better than the iPod. I added X50MIX (Just google it) and the difference is quite noticeable even for a guy like me.

To get a true answer on this we'd really need to do a properly administered double blind test and some decent analysis of the audio out on an oscilloscope to get the right answer to that. And keep in mind that the various iPods have different chip sets.
We can find hundreds of posts on here of people who say that the Axim sounds better than the iPod, that the iPod sounds better than the Creative and that the Creative sounds better than the Axim etc. Very often people hear what they want to hear :)

Could you explain why you hate iPod? remember that some people ar3e employed and this is their living working for Apple.
well i hate it becouse apple made it into this "must have bling thing" and everyone walks around with it they didnt evn buy it for use, just becouse they wanted to look cool and then esspecially at schools they constaltly walk up to you and say how cool their ipod is and how it beats all the devices you have. the other reason is becouse if the ipod haddent been invented then there would be no riaa. this being becouse much less peopel would be pirating music. the ipod has soiled the letter "i". the finl thign isthat i am just plain sick of people walking around with their ipod hanging off of a (probubly sliver colored plastc) silver chain like it is some sort of medal. the world would be am uch better plce without the ipod.
no, i have enough money to buy 2 ipods if i wanted to. its just that i dont want to own a product that has soiled the music industry and other things. i much rather like havign my x30 in my holster.
