This thread is for everyone to say what they want in the next-gen PPC's and mabie give other people idea's. Format Like this
1. Look
2. Specific Hardware(ex. WiFi, BT, camera, VGA screen, etc)
3. Software(Things you want fixed in current software, or running PC software, etc.)
I will start:
1. I want a PDa that is truly designed to be held. I want one that comes with some cushioned sides so It will be alittle easier on the hands.
2. On my next PDA I really want all kidns of wireless, and mabie a USB host also. Two would be better so we can get cheap accessories, like headsets or mice. USB would solve alot of problems. I am also looking for built-in HDD's and not flash memory cards. I like the convience of using SD cards, but a 12Gig built in HDD would be better.
3. I would still like a streamlined handheld software that allows quick boot. I don't look forward to the day that Windows XP or Vista or whatever is on you phone and you desktop.

2. WiFi, BT, VGA screen, USB charging, USB data(sync), USB Host(like cardexport), better battery, at least 2 card slots for expansion devices
3. more RAM, less BS/more customization. ie, some go minimalistic interface for a snappier response, some want GUI toys. An easy way to disable OS features that you do not use to free unnecessary resources

I am just curious, but why would Linux be so superior on the PPC to any thing else? What draws people to Linux?
Ever used it? It simply has a lot of applications available (only desktop Windows has more), runs stable (as long as it's properly configured), is highly customizable, performs well, and best of all, has been used in many, many applications for years.
In contrast, Windows Mobile is proprietary and has very few applications available compared to desktop Windows and Linux. And if there's a bug (which there are - see all the complaints on this site), you'll often have to count on the manufacturer to provide a fix. My next handheld will not run Windows Mobile. I'll go for Linux or regular Windows.
