Best Virtual LAN software I ever used!

Well, for those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, Hamachi lets you play LAN games over the internet by allowing you to join virtual LANs!

http://www.hamachi.cc/

It's pretty sweet. I have used several others, but this is by far the best.

Here are just a fre "fun things" you can do with it:

Play games that are "less than legal"
Share files over LAN
Share iTunes music (and use MyTunes to really share iTunes music)
Play games with your internet friends that don't have an internet gameplay mode.

It also supports chat!

anyway, I thought maybe someone here may be looking for something like this, so there ya go!

The download is free, give it a try!

It also got hugely positive reviews from the 'Security Now' podcast with Steve Gibson (from Shields Up and other stuff) ...

the nice thing about it is that you can have it running on a home PC, and connect remotely when at work to gain access to files at home.

Does this allow Remote Desktop Connection?

I just downloaded it, but haven't set it up yet.

It would be cool to have an aximsite VLan. But allowing lots of people into your vlan without knowing them could cause trouble.

He would have to tell you. It would be the same way if you were physically on the same network.
