Global war version 3 or completely seperate isolated incidents? POLL

Do you think the world is at war again, for the 3rd(technically 4th) time? or do you think that all the recent(going back 5 years) events are all seperate isolated incidents?

Lots of nasty "stuff" going on around the globe but, certainly not a world war.

Close but, no world war.

Now, let me say that while I don't think we are in a global war yet ... I think we are on the brink of it.

Religious Extremeism will be the basis for the next world war. Note - I don't have a problem with anyone who believes in a certain set of religious beliefs, you can believe and have faith in whatever you choose... but its the extremists (Al Q, Hizbolah, Hamas, Amina-however-you-spell-his-name) ... those folks are the ones who are going to bring the world to war.

Anyway, WWIII ... not yet, but well on our way.

Since this is not a world war in the conventional sense, we need to appoint a czar to over see operations, several congressional commitees to over see the czar and Halberton to supply them all. We'll also need to create a department of not world war 3 to coordinate the not war. Several new acronyms will need to be created to describe this not world war 3 since nothing in this contry is official untill it's given a incomprehensible acronym.

What you are seeing is bullies in action. In a real full scale war all of you under 30 year olds would be in active duty.

We are getting close to global war, I think. I think it was Einstein who said, "I don't know what weapons we will use in WWIII, but I know that WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones".

Radical Islam declared war on the United States years ago. We just didn't realize it until September 11, 2001. Is it a world war, of course, it's just that over 1/2 of America is too stupid to realize it, or they refuse to accept it. They want to appease the radicals. You can't. It's unfortunate that they won't realize it until some homicide bomber hits the Mall fo America, the NYC Subway, the Statue of Liberty or Disney World.

Why not? Aside from the constitution name one thing that represents everything about America in one object? She stands for all we stand for ... I'm surprised nobody has tried yet.

No comments about how they would be crazy to even try. I think we can sucessfully conclude that if you are trying to blow yourself up... you are crazy.

Because the statue typically doesn't house thousands of americans inside it. They don't want to kill our moral, they want to kill us.

not exactly... It would make a HUGE statement...

Of course, that would REALLY piss a lot of people off

They wouldn't waste all the planning and resources that goes into an attack similar to 9/11 to take out less than 500 people and a statue that sits in the middle of the water, a safe distance away from everything.

If we do get hit again, expect it to be in a densely populated area where it will do tons of damage (Golden Gate Bridge for example)

I'm telling you, the press coverage on the Statue would be HUGE... the american symbol of freedom and focus of hopeful immigrants, they would get such a pop.

They didn't do the Towers because it was populated, they got it because it was a huge financial hub.

They say the one that hit the pentagon was looking for the White House and got lost/couldn't find it... or that Flight 93 was coming back for the White House.. not for casualities. They can get casualities in a mall or sports stadium
