I don't see the big deal. Fox *always* has a funny clip at the end of "Special Report". They have poked fun at Bush and other republicans as well as democrats. Its always supposed to be funny and never taken seriously. Someone has it in for Fox News

Reese, I'm confused. The whole point of your original post was to claim the Fox is so blatently biased against Democrats, but then when someone suggests that CNN is biased against Republicans, you take offense??
In my experience, for the most part, I have found most news outlets to be 90% objective. While it is true that many have a way of slanting one way or ther other (and that slant typically tends to be to the left). In general, though, the media tends to come as close to the middle and as close to objectivity as human nature allows.

okay, i have somewhat against what you say.. i have found the mainstream media to be 65/35 in favor of a bias to liberals (in news... not specials or people... just straight news). fox is more around 55/45 biased toward conservatives (in news... not specials or people... just straight news)...
but it is not like air america or anything, but there is usually a clear bias, even if it is not ultra-strong. but either way, people need to widen their ideas to all forms of news, not just one source.
thats why i like fox the best. yes, they have alot of conservative people, but they always (barring some cataclysmic event) show both sides. that way you get both sides... not just liberal (like in most cases on mainstream media...)
but seriously, i dont even know why this is a post in the first place... it looks like another "i hate conservatives" or "fox points everything toward a conservative agenda" thread..... so... c'mon... you cannot seriously hate us that much...

Republicans have also participated in similar shows. I've seen John McCain on the Daily Show, but haven't seen media quoting him out of context from such appearances. This is a prime example of Republicans trying to influence their most ignorant supporters with stuff that intelligent people know is not serious and tongue in cheek. Sadlyand frighteningly, the majority of Republican support IS that ignorant that such clips work.
Now there's a generalization if I ever heard one. Most of the consevatives are quite inteligent...capable of complex math and everything.

This IS the point. I don't see JMJ attacking anyone personnally, Reese. As a matter of fact, in another thread, he specifically states that he despite disagreeing from views, he separates that from the person -- JMJ. Pretty upstanding I think.

As much indication and evidence as there is out there that this administration, and it's henchmen, are engaged in rampant corruption and incompetence, and 30% still support them tells me that a substantial percentage of "conservatives" can't add two and two.
