FairTax Rally in Orlando

All,

For those of you who live even within reasonable driving distance of Orlando - I want to suggest that you attend the Boortz/Linder FairTax Rally that's taking place at Orlando City Hall - 10am Saturday 7/29.

I don't normally go for political stuff - but after reading Neal's book (The FairTax Book) I am convinced that passage of H.R. 25 could very well be the biggest transfer of power from Government back to the people in this country's history. The oppressive indexed Income Tax System and the IRS must be done away with.

Hope to see you there.

Hey, I saw this on the news last night. I'd like to hear what the detractors say. Too bad we can't vote for Congress' pay raises.

Now PocketBrain, that would be a GREAT idea!

Could we also approve or disapprove some of their lifelong benefit packages?

I'd be happy if NO passed congressional pay raise went into effect until after the congressman faced an election.

This would indirectly give voters the opportunity to approve of disapprove the by deciding if the congressman that voted for it ever collects it.

Also, term limits would also be great to get rid of these career politicians who no longer represent their constituents, and instead represent the special interests the throw money at them.
