on august 21st i will be building my first ever intel pc.

the specs will be...

61gb 7200rpm pata 133 hdd
dvd dl rw drive, dc rw drive,
775dual VISTA mobo.
intel smithfeild805 core dual
ark A601-2 case
cooler master RR-LCH-P9E1
512 meg of samsug ddr1 ram
Xtasy radeon 9200se modded

are their any tips i should know about obout mounting the cpu/cooler? im kind of cencerned about that. if somone could find/post a video of a soket 775box being put togeher that would be much apperciated...

The manual that comes with the Intel CPU has a decent diagram and instructions. Make sure you don't force anything. And orient the CPU fan wire in a way so that it doesn't touch the fan when you plug it into the motherboard. Or else it'll make a terrible slicing sound when you first boot it.

make sure you get some arctic silver... Other thermal pastes just don't measure up!
