Infared in DOS 6.22?
anyone know how to get an ir prot working in dos?

what i actually want to do is be able to transfer files between my axim, and my laptop, which has a hard time running anything newer than 3.1

lol are u crazy? that will never work. If it cant run windows 3.1 u need a new computer, how are even on the forum lol.

Sound's like it's time to hit Google. The IRD interface standard has been around since at least the first Palm devices, and DOS was still in use then. So you should be able to find a file-exchange utility that use the IR port.

Also, have you had a look to see if there is a Win 3.1 IR driver available for your laptop?

I like your spirit Noisy crow, just as a added fact, the Phtotographier out at the college I go to now has a palm he says is around 14 years old. It looked that way but it was still ticking.

I can't find anything
I'v looked on google, but can't find an IR file transfer program for DOS. I'm just gonna us it how it is for now, but when school starts again i'm gonna get ambitions, and find out more about the IR protocall, and if it's not gonna be to hard, write a program to do it. For now, i'm gonna enjoy my summer.
