I decided a long time ago that hate was a waste of my energy.

Hate is not the answer

I should start by saying I have not visited the blog, nor do i intend to. So, yes, I am biased.

I may disagree with dell. I may think that dell has wronged me. I may think that all they care aobut is a buck and could care less about the consumer. I may be dismayed by customer service in offshore, but starting the dialog as a hate blog does nothing to better the situation, nor to point dell in the right direction.

Criticism can be constructive and it can lead to needed reform, but hate is not the answer. it can too easily be discounted.

LoL, hear that but Dell's really not that bad(product wise), the support(via phone) on the other hand sucks. I can tell you youll get better support over the internet, through email that is .

Support on the Internet? I wish. I have been trying to contact Dell for eight months (since the day after I got my Axim) and all I ever get is a contact telephone number, and since I can't use the telephone, or at least find it difficult (no, I'm not banged up, it a physical thing!) this is not a lot of help

Dell is just fine

I've owned x50v for 1.5 years now, and love it. On those few occasions when I needed support from Dell, they did a fine job (accents were the only difficulty). I worked with them on the phone and via email. I remain curious why so many seem to have bad experiences with Dell suppport. I wonder if my experiences have been good because when I bought my AXIM, I spent an extra $100+ for extended support. Is this just a "you get what you pay for" experience? Or have I just been blessed?

We have a contract with Dell here at work. Hardly have any problems with the 2,000+ PC's or the 500+ Laptops etc... maybe the occasional hard drive crash since they use deathstar drives but that's what network storage is for...

Their service... meh, ever called IBM?

I shouldn't have to pay extra just to get the thing to work properly. I agree with extended support for when the warranty expires, but for the first few months, most people would reckon a year, such support should be free
