Gas was $0.32 a gallon when I started driving.

It's $2.60 here in Tecate, MX, where I live now.

Let's see ... I can still remember when it was between 30 and 35 cents-a-gallon back in the early 70's. I used to go to the gas station with my little Enduro-90 (Yamaha) and fill the tank up for about 50-75 cents, then go riding all afternoon!

I always remember in the late 90s, some friends and I put $2.50 of gas in my full size pickup and we drove around all afternoon on that much. Can't remember exact per gallon price though. 2.55 in Russellville, Arkansas on Friday night.

When I worked in a gas station during my younger days I pumped it for custoers at 15 cent a gallon......and checked the oil, wiped the windshield and for little old ladies checked the air in the tires......and they tipped me.

I remember the good ol' days when I thought 1.50 something was a lot. I just paid $2.57 the other day. Glad to hear that things are coming back to earth. At least a little bit anyway. Thanks for the heads up.
