Stop the bus!!
you can't have an objective discussion of intelligence based on tallness or shortness if height is relative. What criteria did they use for who is tall and who is short?

That brings up a question... I'm a fairly tall engineer... Why aren't there swarms of chicks all over me??
Well, I'm attracted to engineers, but my husband won't let me date anymore

first, like it or not, this study shows that, in general, the taller you are the more intelligent you are.

second @howard: I don't know somewhere around 6'1", not to freakishly tall not to freakishly short, but then not average. RIGHT THERE IN THE SWEET SPOT, imo

third: that list of short peps. the study didn't show relative heights and success. so sorry but the 5'10" person is right there at being average height.

Not willing to spend five dollars to read the whole report but it looks like it may boil down to nutrition which sparked the height and the mental developement. But there would be a lot of variables here, if genetically your defined height would be 5'-9" with perfect nutrition when young and you reach it presumably you would be smarter than someone who's genetic height would be 6'-4" but only reaches 6'.

By the way, Albert Einstein's height was 5'-9"
