Well considering what he did, I don't feel bad. Animals deserve peace too. I would not want some guy to come and wrestle me and put me on a camera.

ABF, he was a zoologist and a conservationist. He brought attention to the plight of animals and educated us about them. He had a great attitude and was always smiling making animals seem less beastly and more friendly. He'll be missed.

my heartfelt condolences go out to the family, immediate and extended...

I liked the croc hunter. I'll miss him.

He was very entertaining and informative, an educator. You can't say he deserved to die for living hazardously more than you can say that for anybody who undertakes hazardous tasks for a good cause.

So sad, at least he was not hunted by a crocodile. May his soul rest in peace.

He was a fellow Aussie and a great bloke and he is dead.
It is really sad to see the superficial, flippant and insensensitive comments from some of our members. I hope they are never so close to a tragedy and if they are that they are shown a little kindness.

I think we all knew that it would eventually happen one day. Its sad, but some of the things these people do is just crazy. Just like Grizzly Man and the other woman that died with the Gorillas, they died doing something that they knew had great risk. R.I.P.
