Help with Tablet PC

I couldn't really work out what forum to post this in.

A couple of years ago I bought a Pacebook tablet PC from Paceblade. I won't bother going on about their customer service, forums etc, let's just say that dell is faultless in comparison.

Having put up with it's limitations (the computer not the customer service) for a couple of years I suddenly thought that perhaps it would work better with a Mobile operating system.

Does anybody know or have any experience with this sort of thing.

I guess I am asking if it is possible to install WM5 on what is technically a Laptop. Although it really is less powerful than my Ax.

No, you can't. WM5 would have to be recompiled for an X86 processor. Try a reinstall of the OS, but do it as Custom install, so unneeded applications are not installed. Also consider using a Linux distribution.

By the way, what Operating System (OS) is installed currently?

it came with XP home. I got it before XP tablet was released.
I've never been able to find a way of upgrading the OS and Paceblade heve never been any help. I would happily install any OS just to get it to work for basic stuff. It's a nice looking bit of hardware, but it is lust so slow and crashes all the time.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I got to the point that I couldn't even deal with it for a long time, but now maybe I can look at getting it working for me instead of just being a door stopper
