PS3 base vs PS3 Premium. Whats the difference?
With the recent story on Engadget on ho the PS3 base will also have HDMi, what's the difference between the base vs premium versions? If the hard drive capacity is the only thing, I'd rather upgrade that myself than spending a few hundred more for the premium ps3. Anyone know the deets on this one?

not to promote another site but go to www.qj.net and click the ps3 link....you would be better off with the premium model just for extras sake....also PREORDER!!!! only 400k models to the us and 100k to japan non for uk....for comparison sake Xbox360 release in us with 1.5 million units.....can u say 5 grand for a ps3 this christmas?

No get premuim! I heard something about it has wireless and you can plug meomory cards into it, and some special feature that may be required for some games... So order premuim!

Premium has a bigger hard drive, wifi, and a memory card reader (for SD, CF, etc). Unless some game requires the bigger hard drive I don't know of any other "special feature" that any game could possibly need. The wifi is only used to connect to the internet although its been thought that it might be used to connect to the PSP but you should also be able to just use a USB cable.

Reminds me of the old TurboGrafx... you could buy a plug-in module that supported stereo... and it came in a million flavors. Just 2 colors, though. How long has it been since a major videogame has been initially released in more than one unique format?

not being an ass but the site i gave does have good info....just i was at work when i posted that so i didnt have the info off the top of my head...
