I find it ironic that T.O. told police on the scene that he was depressed and answered "yes" when they asked him if he was trying to harm himself. Additionally, there was an empty bottle of medication at the scene that T.O. later claimed was empty because he put took the meds out of the bottle and put them in a drawer. IMHO, T.O. is full of sh!t and needs some serious psychological help.
From what I understand he said he's bipolar. I could be wrong. If so, that would explain alot of his wild behavior.
I heard the same thing. Anyway T.O. is a nut case. He could be trying to get some sympathy from the public.

OK, I will preface this buy stating that I am a diehard Eagles fan. I was delighted in 2004 when he came to town and just as delighted when he left and went to the hated Cowboys. We all figure he will implode them like he did in Philly. But a lot of things do not add up in this case. I found this on the Dallas Morning News:
What really happened in Terrell Owens life? "A lot of things were coming to a head anyway, and then this happened," said James "Buddy" Primm, 55, who until earlier this month, had been living with Owens in his loft on Commerce Street, in the shadow of Fair Park. Primm said Owens underwent two traumatic events Monday involving his 7-year-old son and his fiancée, a woman he has dated for three years. Owens' son, from a previous relationship, celebrated his birthday Monday, Primm said. Owens was distraught, he said, about not being able to be see the boy, who lives in California. "He wanted to get together with the boy," Primm said. "But the boy could not come here, and Terrell could not go there." Then hours later, a woman whom Primm described as Owens' fiancée broke off the relationship. Primm declined to give the woman's last name but said she and Owens had been dating for three years. She also lives in California.
In my humble opinion, the guy needs help and I hope he gets it.
Look, I'm not one to jump to T.O.'s defense, but I do not think it was an honest suicide attempt. He has had a bad reaction to similar kinds of pills in the past. I think it really was an accidental overdose.
That being said, I do think TO has some other serious issues that probably need to be addressed.

T.O. is a little twitchy, but he might just have taken a couple more than the prescription calls for, i.e. "If two eases the pain, then four should completely take it away!" The disorientation thus induced may have induced him to take more without really realizing how many he had taken. It doesn't mean he's suicidal, just that he's colossally stupid. For somebody who was suicidal, he sure jumped up in front of the cameras awfully quickly. Of course, if he's strongly bipolar, that may be possible, and he may even believe he was not attempting suicide when he was. Who's to say? All I do know is, in the future, they need to just give him Midol and tell him to suck it up if that doesn't help.
To say that T.O. has issues is an understatement. As a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan, I had to wonder what was going through Jerry Jones' head when he signed Owens. T.O. has never been a team player no matter where he was. He never will be a team player. The only thing that T.O. cares about is T.O. himself. At the risk of sounding insensitive, I have to honestly say that I feel that this is just another T.O. stunt to draw more attention to himself. Lord knows that his recent performances on the field have not earned him any attention!
It is still too early in the season for that kind of depression... If they were 3 and 10, well then he might be more justified

As long as they have 75% of their organs, they can play for the Bucs?? :) Heck, I heard that Dan Marino might be getting a try out soon. :)
