More flash memory. Maybe a second chip. and MORE RAM (64MB ain't enough)
Better battery life.
Annoyance of side buttons.
Ability to use it as Mass Storage Device for memory cards.
Permanent paint (the silver finish chips off)

LOL. I would like it to have the more 128 of RAM, 1 gb of ROM, a faster processor( like the 1.2ghz that Intel was said to make; or a dual core 624mhz), 1-2 USB host ports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and Wireless G.

Better battery life would definitely be good. Also a slightly bigger and better D-pad to make it easier to use it one-handed ...

All above are great ideas, but I'd add a camera and a basic telephone. Smaller and lighter are always good.

Always good to have more kick in the device. But, software will need to be able to take advantage of the dual core. That's work in progress even for PCs. I'm not very optimistic that it will ever happen for PPC :(

Definitely more RAM & ROM (256mb RAM, 1gb ROM), WiFi-G with longer range, Bluetooth 2.0, longer battery life, slide-out QWERTY keyboard or thumboard, jog wheel, better/louder speaker, SD & Mini-SD slots, WiFi Activesync, better D-pad, USB host port(s).

Drop the CF slot in favor of the SD & Mini-SD (or Micro-SD) slots.
