Aximsitesoftwareicon Simple Visual Basic on my PDA?

I have a WM5 based Axim PDA, and I am wondering if standard executable programs made in Visual Basic work on the PDA or is there something special I'd need to do/compile? Do I need special programming software?

Hope this is in the right forum. I've tried searching, but didn't seem to find what I needed.

Thanks

M.

Visual Basic for native code generation (Like VB 6) - No. You need eVB or something.
Visual Studio 2005 development (.NET) is as fast as Visual basic development (Paint the form, buttons, textboxes and click on stuff to add code), but the string handling is worthless (For my needs).

you may also want to look at basic4ppc. It's not the microsoft product, but the syntax is similar, and it's very reasonable as well

Oki dokes people! Thanks for the replies. Visual Basic and C is something I have limited knowlege of, and I was hoping to use that knowlege to make some little programs for my PDA. Involving notihng more then basic calculations, some weight & ballance envelope comparisons and similar. Already tried PPL and personally didn't like it much. Will give NBasic a try.
