I have a Paypal Question

Ok so here is my dilemna. I want to use my credit card to credit money to my Paypal account, but I don't see an option for that. Is there a way to do that?

And one more

If I buy something on Ebay and I bill the payment through paypal. Let's say I don't have enough money on Paypal. Will Paypal go to my checking account for funds and notice I don't have any money in my checking account and then switch to my credit card or will I get an overdraft notice?

More than likely an overdraft will be charged to your checking account.

ugh That is what I thought. Is there anyway to get my credit card to work so I don't have to get a stupid overdraft or go through my checking account?

I have paypal set up to go to my credit card first. don't really use the bank, although requried. I figure the credit card is another protection since bills can be contested easier. In Pay pal you can actually select for each transaction what you want to use.

AHH! I get it. So when I buy something on Ebay it'll ask me where I want to bill?

Because when I did that it didn't ask me. It just forced me to bill my checking so I put the amount i needed into it to avoid the over draft.

Now for the first question again:

Is there anyway to send money from a Credit Card to your Paypal account?

That's odd. I don't know why It won't let me do that. Maybe I should remove my bank account and see how it works.

UGH!! It just made my account unverified. So I had to reenter in all of my checking account info.

Just a quick question, when you go to "Add Funds" would it list a credit card or a bank account?

For me, just credit card number. But don't go by that because as I say I am in Europe and everything is different here. I shouldn't have even commented in the first place.

Never tried to add funds from a credit card, that would be a cash advance? those are expensive. Why not just enter the credit card and charge directly to it.

Go into your paypal account and add your credit card as a payment method. Then when you make a purchase you can choose either the credit card or your bank account. You can have more than one credit card entered into your profile.

To do this first: Go into profile then click on credit cards then click on add and then enter your credit card information.

You can set up your account so that it defaults to a payment method - credit card or bank account, if you have more that one payment method in Paypal. If your account is set for default payment to your bank account, you can still pay with your credit card. To do so, all you have to do is click on the button for funding options when you are making payment.

That's what I needed to know! Thanks.
