Maybe its just me but I think a very important line should be pointed out.

Apple does not manufacture well anything. They don't own or opperate any plants at all. Every Apple product is built by a contract supplier. What I don't understand is why Apple did not just blame the people who actually caused the problem ... the company that built the ipods in question.
