I almost bought a Mac earlier this year (seemed like the cool thing to do, lol). But, I'm on my nice and very fast 64bit Turion notebook, with 1.5 gigs of RAM, all for $600. It's never crashed, and runs awesome! I coulda spent $1700 on a Mac, and then had to buy all new software, so I'm pretty happy.
