Java vs. Javascript

Whats the difference between the two? I see two options in firefox that I can enable either one of them.

Also, is there a way to run either or both of them in pocket pc?

Javascript is more simple, java is complex.

I could go into details but basically:
Javascript is programming code for many browsers. Javascript is done in html code.
Most javascript runs in pocket ie, but some adavnced scripts require other browsers.

Java can make whole programs. Limewire is written in java. Java is advanced and is very hard to run on the ppc effectively. Netfront with java is your best bet.

Search google or wikipedia for more info.
