because Vista RTM is already way more secure than XP sp 2. Also, more features, helluva faster... and hasn't crashed on me yet (tho XP never really did either) I got my soundcard to work using XP drivers, so I'm all set!
I am running the Final Build of Vista and am somewhat satisfied. It is somewhat of a memory hog (@ 42% right now running Firefox, Outlook 2007 and a few services). Other than some program incompatibility its good.
My system specs:
Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.4 GHz
2 HDD's (250 gb SATA and 40 gb IDE)
2 GB of RAM
PNY GeForceFX 5700 (latest beta drivers, and soon to overclock it to 600mhz GPU and 1000 Mhz memory)
I have a question how good would it run on my system
Intel Pent 4 2.93 Ghz
512 MB Ram
200 GB HD
Intel integrated graphics..i really should get my self a real graphics card soon....i have an open pci slot to i think...i also should upgrade my memory..but what do you guys think
man i havnt been here in a while either.....hows it been going guys.

Reese, just curious... what kind of flash drive are you using for the speed boost? It says both of mine aren't good enough for it :/. One is a 128 MB and one is a 1 GB. I wonder if it would work with my iPod in disk mode lol.

i wouldnt use speed bost if i were you. it will wear down your flash drive realy fast and plus flash drives arent as fast a hard disk is. i have my page file on a seperate hdd in my computer..

Yeah, I got it working when I reformatted it now, and now I decided to stop using it because you are right... it will probably lower the life of it, and I don't want to have to get a new one lol. After I disabled readyboost it like renamed the files that readyboost added to weird names and corrupted my flash drive (good thing I didn't have anything on it lol). I am doing a format now, so that will fix everything.
