Good PC Racing Game

I recently got a PC steering wheel on sale at Target but I don't have any racing games. Any suggestions on good ones/link to demos?

rFactor is an awesome one, it's $40 though, so it isn't cheap (www.rfactor.net)
And Live For Speed S2 is probably the best ($50) (www.liveforspeed.net I think)
These are the two I use, there is also a free one out called Racer. (www.racer.nl)
Racer is OK, just it is designed to have extra cars added, so if you aren't very comfortable with copying and pasting files into directories, then try the other ones

You should also checkout the demo of Cross Racing Championship.

depends on the wheel. If you are a feedback fan and want realism then nothing beats "grand prix legends". It won't be much in graphics by todays standards but it is super realistic gameplay wise. No more stomping on the gas and taking off....in this game if you stomp on the gas, your back tires are gonna let go. No more stomping on brakes before a corner because your brakes are gonna lock up. No more taking the short cut through the grass or bouning off a wall for a turn, because here if the car hits grass the wheels are just gonna spin unless you lightly press the gas and if you hit a wall, IF the cars still runs its gonna limp and best of all you get it all feeding back through the steering wheel....:approve: :approve: :approve:

yes i'm with robman.

it's cool to have ultra realistic racing physics and ultra realistic bla bla bla.

but it's also cool to have a bad ass "fun" game.

I have nfs underground. two thumbs up on fun.

Always loved Need For Speed Games.

The Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted ones were my fav :p

I have not played many of the recent ones, but I think Carbon and Most Wanted are the newest ones out.
