That's the issue in a fraud lawsuit filed Wednesday against Kraft Foods, Inc., by a Los Angeles woman who claims the company's avocado dip doesn't qualify as guacamole.
"It just didn't taste avocadoey," said Brenda Lifsey, who used Kraft Dips Guacamole in a three-layer dip last year. "I looked at the ingredients and found there was almost no avocado in it."
She is seeking unspecified damages and a Superior Court order barring Kraft from calling its dip guacamole. Her suit seeks class-action status

Actually, if she wanted a true guacamole taste, why didn't she go to her local supermarket, buy some real avocadoes, mash them herself, and then put that in her dip?
When I do that I have no complaints.
Believe it or not, this is very good news for me! I am allergic to Avocado so I'm off to buy some Kraft. Sounds reminiscent of the guy that sued McDs because he was allergic to chicken and got sick when he ate their CHICKEN McNuggets. The story goes that McDs won the case by proving that there was no chicken in the Nuggets. Probably an Urban Myth, but I like it.

I just heard today that potato, apple and onion taste the same, it is the smell that is different and if you hold your nose you wouldn't know what you are eating.
Wonder if I could sue the apple growers because their products taste like onions.
I'm just disappointed that there's no welsh in it......
