If Ricey is praying for you, it can't be good. Everyone, let's say a prayer for Howie and hope is health can return so he can remain here with us just a little longer.

Dear Aximsite Lord in Tech Heaven, we look to you to infuse our loved one, Howard, with the power of a mugen 3300mAh battery and the processor of an x51v. Give him all the ram that you can from that tech aftermarket company PPC Techs or whatever it's called, for he needs that memory to grow old with, if you would be so kind to let him do so. We pray to you, oh Aximsite Lord, to let his ticker tick tock like a finely tuned internal clock. And so it shall be. Amen.

So I saw the doctor today. Basically she said that because my pulse was low the machine would probably have been having problems getting the right reading. It was one of those ones at the pharmacy where you sit down and it does it. She took it at the office and it was 120/77. So much more in line.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback all!

Curious Question - Did you check your BP after you read the P&R forum. Could be the cause of the high BP

I know a guy that had a resting pulse of 38 a couple of years ago (very well-trained). The doctors thought he had a heart disease or something. :)

Miguel Indurain had a resting pulse of 29!!!!!

Mind you he did have a lung capacity of 8 litres

Quote:
In the mountain stages of the Tour de France, Indurain could take his pulse rate up to 150 beats per minute and drop it back to 60 on the descent within half a minute.
