Congratulations on a good start.

Looks like England is off to another good start in the Third Test. I know it is early days but if they can take this one at least it will keep the series alive.
If it was up to me I would give them this one and the next one and then hammer them into oblivion in the fifth.

I predicted the last result, so I'm not going to comment on this one. But I ....................

Why oh why did the selectors not choose Panesar over Giles from the outset? Things may have been rather different if they had.

Martin was going to send his MUM last time. Maybe he did.

EDIT:
@Martin. Your post came in while I was typing so I didn't see it until I posted.

Geez, I'm still recovering from the shock that England were that bad. Congratulations to Australia for winning the Ashes back.

I am just back from a weekend in France (hard life) with a car full of French wine and cheap ciggies. I was going to start a new thread as I thought the occasion shouldn't pass without a mention.
I couldn't follow the progress in France but it seems that rather than Australia winning it was a case of England losing. Commiserations and better luck next time.
I heard a clever comment from a BBC commentator, "the games not over 'till the fat bowler spins" (Warnie).
I'm pleased to see the site back up, thanks to Andy and Mobilitysite for letting me know what was happening.

Maybe Graham we can set up a cross channel service, can't offer the french vino but ciggies are cheaper here in Germany than in France and we have a hankerin for things like Chedder, Walkers and Vegimite. PM me if you are interested. I also have something in the bottom of my ashtray that the boys in white over there might be interested in. Mind you, not having watched any cricket lately I'm probably wrong about the whites.
