All I can say is that those parents and child would be the laughing stock of the school and town. They better move.

:soap:

I'm offended by people who have really thin skin.
Way to set an example for your kid to grow up with..

What's next? Oxygen activists? Be nice to the air, breathe gently... They could go after all of the professional athletes for oxygen abuse, think of all the lawsuits
:headscrat

Get off the freakin' cross we need the wood!
I apologize in advance if the mention of a religous icon or the sensless destruction of a tree upsets you....

BTW, In protest, I'm wearing my Santa hat too!
.....and nothing else !

There will alway be stupid people complaining about stupid stuff.
What gets me is that this escalated. It is stupid to complain, but to be a supervisor and demand a change because of one complaint in years!

The supervisors are stupid-er than the kid and parents that originally complained.

OK> I'm Jewish. Never celebrated Christmas before I got married. But when I saw that sexy little Mrs. Santa outfit in Virctoria Secrets...yup...offended. I immediately declared that they must be taken off the streets and delivered directly to my house. :)

Oh yeah, as to the hat...I guess unless it had a giant picture of Jesus on it, then it is just a red poofy hat???

egads!
how utterly ridiculous... and a sad commentary on the times we live in. Y'all should see the sexual harrassment classes we have to go through working in civil service
If someone perceives that something is offensive, you get in trouble
*shakes head sadly*

thats the one that kills me. It can be nothing offensive at all and if only 1 person decides that it is offensive you end up either fired, in classes to learn of your sins or on probation for 6 months. the definition is way too open ended. so now we just don't talk to each other. ahhhhh much better.

It's totally offensive. Especially when worn by:

ducks
dancing cardinals
cats with a mouse jumping on their tummies
RoboCop
Homers
Superman
Skunks

Other things I find offensive:
holiday monkeys
cowboys fans
wedgies
NBA
Bananas
left hand turn lanes
self serve gas pumps

Edit: also dogs with big teeth!

Merry nondenominational winter holiday! :)

Many ways to look at this:
1: Most children are spoiled today. If he doesn't like something simple as this, DEAL WITH IT. If someone is playing rap extreamly loud in his car and I have to listen to it I deal with it! As much as I hate rap music.

2: All this stupid Political correctness is really annoying. Example: Happy holidays.
Another example: In my social Studies/History when my teacher tries to explain all the races/cultures of the United States he said he cant call it a Melting Pot anymore because it is not Politically correct its TOSSED SALAD.
I guess we can just say one bad apple can ruin the rest, right?
-Tacos!

If the kid doesn't like the hat then he should of been kicked off the bus and walked to school.

I would have disposed of that outfit correctly. And by correctly, I mean it'd end up on my bedroom floor.

The kid might have issues with corporate america and see it as a religion, since the santa outfit is made up by Coca Cola (The red clothes and the white beard), but I highly doubt it.
