Well I think the Ipod ran off with the Starbucks card I got for Christmas. Maybe they are creating a "partnership"
I like the SQ from my x50v but really like the portability from the Ipod I had. SQ couldn't compare though. Dell was hands down the winner. Ipod just made it soooooo easy.
Kind of leaning towards the new shuffle just for shear size.
Need to play with a Zune though.
I also just got a Zune couple weeks back - and also lovin' it so far. Zune Pass is nice, and finding myself watching a lot more video than I thought I would ...

zen vision m or a sansa? That Sansa looks teeny like the nano..you were looking @ size..Lauren just got that Zen(returned her Christmas i-pod because alot of her buddies were having 'major breakdown probs') but i was looking @ the Sansa...both our Dell DJ's crapped out...I've forgotten why the Zune was not considered...
i'm not trying to add confusion to the mix, but, i am a woman!
I would get a 80Gb iPod as right now the market for accessories belong to the Ipod. Also keep your music in MP3 and copy it to the iTune folder on your PC so the original format remains for other devices if needed. Personally I prefer the sound of OGG files.

What device will be first to interact with a we-com virtual wallet?
I love my iPod. I'd only replace my 30GB iPod with a larger one :)
However - AAC is an industry standard. It's not the one way street that many of the great unwashed seem to think it is. I think the Zune even plays it, but I could be wrong. DRMd tunes from iTunes have the Fairplay DRM, which is not compatible with other players, but standard AAC IS a portable format.

Get an iPod nano, or use your Axim. I mostly use my Axim, but on trips that I don't want to risk damaging I take my nano. First gen, rather scratched up, so I wouldn't *really* mind if it fell in a river or something.

I got the Creative Labs Vision:M and love it. Got killer reviews and the screen is excellent. It has the ability to play WMV and Xvid videos.
BTW Don't worry about iTunes support on anything. you can get around that. The first thing I ever do when I buy something on iTunes is make an audio CD and then rip that to MP3s. I can't stand not being able play my music on everything I own. Besides I am not a sheep and have to have an IPod. I wouldn't own anything Apple anyway.
