Do I replace it or buy something different. I love the itunes setup even though it makes it difficult to switch to something else.
I have just under 20gig of music that I like to keep with me and the ipod was perfect for that.
PDA with a 2 or 4gb card for local favorites, and orb to stream the odd tune that you want to hear.

Get another iPod since you're used to it and make sure the color is pink (use fluorescent stickers) so it doesn't camouflage as easily. (Hey, it worked great for many HVAC companies...)

I just bought a Sansa E250(2gb) and very pleased with it.I use it mostly for audio books but also have music on it.It will play video, has a fm tuner, will accept micro sd cards and record voice. You can also use it as a thumb drive to transport and store files. All of this for less than $100.00.You can get up to an 8gb Sansa in th E200 series.I think this is the most bang for the buck.

Mature technology will/should come down in price to make room for new R&D and unexpected expenses.
