Many, many congratulations Andy. Hope everyone is well.

I've been there (4 times ) and have to say I don't know what all the fuss is about. I never felt a thing!

Brings to mind a real-life story though:

Part of my job as a public-health nurse is teaching new parents how to care for their infants.

As I was demonstrating how to wrap a newborn, a young couple turned to me and said, "You mean we should wrap the baby like an pancake (egg) roll?"

"Yes," I replied, "That is a good analogy."

"I don't know how to make pancake rolls," another mother said anxiously. "Can I wrap my baby like a burrito?"

On a much more serious note, a very big conratulations to your new family! Regardless of the stress and tiredness that goes with new born rearing, this will be without a doubt the best of times... try to savour every moment (even the projectile vomits will be fondly remembered one day!):hide:
