Ok to get right so the point:
Next year (to be clear next school year) I get to Learn spanish in school, the problem is that I heard it (being an additional subject which I need for a Grade) is quite hard. So is there any website or programm which helps you learn spanish now (I have a lot of free time now) ?
I'm of the practical kind, so something that helps you learn setences would be quite apreshiated (however to write that).
And are there any easy to read spanish books cartoons or easy to understand cds or movies you can recommend?

Edit: I'm native german speaker, but it would be ok if the program is in english.

I suggest the Rosset Stone software, I think that it is what it is called. I remember hearing alot of rave reviews of it.

Build soft ware for your PDA/smart phone that will translate language of your choice ... for those that do not have time to take on more do to time restraints.

I'm using Auralog's "Tell Me More" for my PC, and it is very good. It even uses a mic to check your pronunciation, and has video. That being said, Spanish is one of the easier languages to learn due to fewer exceptions, and consistent rules of grammar.
